Accountant

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling receivables and payables, performing reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting using Odoo and standard accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Record daily financial transactions including sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • • Manage accounts receivable and follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances.
  • • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of vendor bills and payments.
  • • Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the accounting system.
  • • Prepare and review customer invoices and vendor bills using Odoo Accounting.
  • • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • • Monitor financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • • Support management with financial reports and analysis when required.

Qualifications:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • • Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably using Odoo or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Practical experience using Odoo Accounting software.
  •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
  •  Ability to handle financial data with confidentiality and professionalism.​
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and financial reports.
